WORLD Tour Step # 1 - Decisions Email
Ok, here is the deal...during the World Tour Project you and your partner (or you and yourself) have SIX decisions that need to be made before embarking on your World Tour adventure. Please read through the information below and follow the simple directions. Please read carefully in order NOT to do too much (or too little work) in regards to the decisions regarding your World Tour project. Oh boy decisions! Please note that the results of all SIX Decisions below needs to be e-mailed to your World Geography teacher. Note: ALL SIX decisions need to be included in the main body of ONE email to your teacher...no attachments, no shared docs, just give answers to ALL Decisions in one email…thanks!

Decision ONE:
Who is your partner? Please remember your GRADE depends on how well (or not so well) you and your partners work together! (Limit of 2 students per group) Again you can work alone...PLEASE include your Class Period Number (1st, 2nd or 3rd)!!
Decision TWO:
Where is your tour company going to take travelers? (Simply list your city AND country)
Decision THREE:
What are 3 “Sights to See” within your city that travelers MUST visit? (this is ONLY to get your group thinking a bit) You are allowed to travel up to 75 miles from the city center to visit places during your featured vacations. Note: this should be a very simple answer! (a quick search to find the instant “Must See” attractions/Places...you will dig deeper later on to find the hidden gems!)
Decision FOUR:
Name your Travel Company...What is your Company Name? (Creativity)
Decision FIVE:
Get your company’s URL (website address)...PLEASE “copy and paste” your web address AFTER YOU HAVE PUBLISHED for this decision. FYI - please click the “Publish” button often when working on your website creation…in the website creation world Publish = Save!!! To get your unique “URL” (again a URL is a web address) you will need to Create an account for building a FREE website builder online...please note that your ENTIRE project will revolve around creating a website that promotes your chosen World City. Please integrate your companies name within your project’s website address! Hyperlinked below you will find 3 “Free” website creation sites...PLEASE PLEASE follow the directions & watch any and all tutorial videos that will help you learn how to create a website using their software! Feel free to use any “web hosting/creation” sites, but below are 3 that have been used before for this project and your teachers will be able to help “trouble shoot” if you get stuck!

NOTE: if you follow the online prompts/directions these sites are as easy to set up as a new Twitter or Instagram account!
Decision SIX:
For this decision your group needs to pick your dates of travel to your featured city. What season or time of year will your trip take place and why? Please give approximated dates of trip…this may change when you make the actual purchase of Plane Tickets! Remember to explain why! (you need to spend 4 nights in your World City)
Decisions Email:
Please E-MAIL the responses to the above 6 Decisions to your Geography teacher (all 6 Decisions in one e-mail please). Also, you may find that throughout your adventures and research that “plans” change and that is “A-OK”...the main point to making these “Decisions” is to get your group started and a bit organized. please Please PLEASE organize all e-mails to your Geo teacher in order to receive credit...organization is KEY throughout this project!!
